Siberian Huskies have a very special attraction to many people. Friendly to everyone, good-natured in dealing with humans but also lively and excitedly barking at the expected start of a sled or carriage tour – Huskies have many facets. Lead a team of these powerful dogs – with us this is possible for groups of up to 8 participants!
We start with the introduction of the breed of dogs and the dogs of our pack. You can watch the animals in free-ride and learn interesting facts about the training of sled dogs.
The following is information on driving technique as well as safety when driving a sled or training car.
Afterwards we introduce each participant to his 3 to 4 dog team and tighten the Huskies. Under the expert guidance of our tour guides, you learn to lead your team on the half-hour tour. The guests receive help especially when driving corners and using the pedal technique, which can be used to support the dogs on ascents.
After returning to the husky farm, the dogs are first relaxed, praised extensively and provided with water. Then we show how to remove the harnesses properly. After an extensive petting session we bring the dogs back to their enclosure. If the dogs are happy in their resting places, we can review the tour together again and gladly answer all the unresolved questions about the tour and the huskies.
Conclusion of many guests after the tour: Here you can experience nature, silence and animals very intensely and far from everyday life!
Die Tour führt über Wald- und Feldwege, auf denen auch Anfänger ihr Gespann sicher lenken können. Unsere Tourguides begleiten die Gespannfahrer auf dem Mountainbike, so daß jeder Teilnehmer sicher und fürsorglich betreut ist. An unseren Pausenplätzen, wo wir die Hunde mit Wasser versorgen, kann man den Blick auch mal über die weite Landschaft schweifen lassen. Nicht selten kreuzen Rehe und Hirsche unsere Route.
